Practice Areas

Personal Injury, Commercial and Insurance Litigation.

At Eiland & Bonnin, PC, we focus on the following areas of practice:

  • Maritime/Admiralty Commercial Litigation - Our firm has handled cases involving breach of contract, vessel collisions, and loss or contamination of a product. We have litigated significant legal matters that involved multiple defendants, with volumes of documents and many hours of depositions and testimony.

  • Jones Act and Offshore Injuries - Our experience in cases that involve the Jones Act or offshore injuries helps us determine whether it is best to proceed in federal or state court. We identify the responsible party and the damages you are entitled to if you suffered a back, neck, brain, or closed head injury.

  • Commercial Litigation - At Eiland & Bonnin, PC, we team with other law firms to provide expertise and support. Our firm has faced off against insurance companies, corporations, and franchisors.

  • Petrochemical Accidents - Texas is a hub for the petrochemical industry, and we represent clients injured in explosions, fires, electrocutions, and falls from scaffolds. Employers must maintain high standards of safety, especially in such a dangerous industry.

  • Breach of Fiduciary Duty - Individuals who are entrusted with fiduciary responsibilities must maintain high standards of ethics. When that trust is violated and those duties are breached, they must be held accountable.

  • Car/Truck Accidents - If you have been seriously injured or lost a loved one in a car or truck accident, we can help. You need an aggressive advocate to handle legal matters while you recover from your injuries.

  • Insurance Litigation - When insurance companies refuse to pay a legitimate claim or sell products that their customers simply do not need, we will diligently represent you. We constantly network with insurance professionals to get the industry insight we need.

  • Defective Drugs - High-profile drugs are introduced to the market and become popular, then are found to be defective and dangerous. Our firm holds drug companies responsible when their defective drug causes injury.

In the wake of the largest natural disaster to ever hit South Texas, residents in Corpus Christi, Rockport, Port Aransas, and the greater Houston area are facing an even worse disaster: the callous practices of the insurance industry. Their tactics, which include delaying claims with needless wait times and “fraud investigation” or denying valid claims outright, slowing recovery.
